SAFN PACIFIC
REGIONAL MEETING

The Pacific Region's biennial meeting will be held in California's capital city of Sacramento on September 23rd through 26th, 2010. A variety of optional activities are being planned for Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the day and evening. The regional meeting will be on Saturday with lunch at the hotel. Saturday night will be more food and fun with fellow nurses.

Sacramento offers many venues for sightseeing, learning about the state's history, and of course, the activity all nurses enjoy....shopping. Situated in downtown within a 50 feet of the downtown K Street Mall and a short 5 minute walk to Sacramento's Old Town, our focal point will be the Holiday Inn/Capitol Plaza. Obtain your reservations for a great rate of $99.00 per night by calling (916) 446-0100 and giving the Group Code of "ARN." Reservations must be made before August 25th.

Traveling to Sacramento is very easy, either by car, plane, or train. The Sacramento International Airport is a 15 minute ride and Amtrak's Sacramento station is a quick 10 minute walk to the hotel.

Details about shuttle service from the airport, parking at the hotel, train schedules, and all activities will be available by the middle of July. So watch here for those updates.

Please do not hesitate to contact Kathy Reynolds, the Sacramento Chapter Coordinator, for questions or more details. Her contact information is in the June 2009 SAFN Directory of Members.
